Okan Ramen
They specialise in the Osaka street-food staple, okonomiyaki, and has a small, but it’s perfectly rounded menu – fried noodles, edamame, a little grilled aubergine and the all-important Osaka-yaki, all included. With three locations within London, Okan seeks to bring authenticity to Japanese food in the London restaurant game. Its locations and decor, make it a hidden gem. The owners, who hail from Osaka, started serving Okonomiyaki from a Brick Lane food stall in 2002.
