1) What is your role at GoKart?
Customer Success Manager. My role is to make sure that all the Customers are happy with their orders and the app, and that they have someone friendly to speak to if they have any problems.
2) Why did you want to work in the food industry?
I am a massive foodie, I used to work as a chef in Scotland then India, and love being a part of the incredible restaurant industry in London. I spend any free time I have finding new and interesting places to eat!
3) What drew you to working with GoKart?
We are solving a problem within the restaurant world that I have experienced first hand, and want to be part of the solution by helping make life easier for restaurants, catering companies and street food. I love the start-up vibe as well, we are doing something meaningful, but it’s also a fun team to be a part of.
4) What is the best thing about working in the food industry?
For how large a city London is, the small community feel there is within the food industry is amazing, everyone seems to know everyone and we all have the same purpose to create great food experiences for people. Also, particularly in London, there is such a large amount of new businesses and restaurants opening all the time, it is such an exciting fast-paced industry to be in.
